Puebla, Mexico (Parte 6 David, Aitana and El Chautla)

Museo Universitario Casa de los Munecos

This very impressive building is an art museum, that was recommended by Rosalia, and is managed by the Public University of Puebla (BUAP).  It happened to be on my way from the Airbnb to the Zocalo and to the school, so I saw it twice a day.  The house is named after its facade decoration of tiles forming a mural of human caricatures in dancing poses.  It was built in 1792 by Agustin de Ovando y Villacicencio, Councilor and Mayor of the city at the time.  On Saturday, since Anais was still away working, David came to pick me up with Aitana and took us to El Chautla for the day.  Marie
