From March 1st to the 15th Marie and I spent some very enjoyable days with two of our grandchildren William, 4 and Amy 7. Mom and Dad had planned a trip of a lifetime to Japan for two weeks and we were there in Montreal to drive them to the airport, wish them bon voyage and head back to our place with the kids. The first week we spent at our home in the Appalachians tobogganing, skiing, swimming, snowshoeing and visiting various fun places in the area, a sugar shack and a farm with pigs, horses, cows and lambs. The next week daycare and school resumed so we were back in Montreal until Phil and Fer returned from the Land of the Rising Sun. We left for home the next day to pack and prepare for our upcoming 5 week sojourn to Mexico. Pictures and story of that trip to follow! gws
