During this year's Thanksgiving Day weekend we brought our little grandson William back with us to look after him for a few days while Phil and Fernanda installed their new IKEA kitchen cabinets. He was as good as gold for the three days he stayed with us and never complained once. He just loved the outdoors and never tired of climbing the stairs from the cabin to the house or walking down our long driveway. He is growing fast and is becoming a happy, confident and loving little boy. Thanks for the memories, dear William! gws

Day Trip to Saint-Chrysostome, 3 October, 2015
The first weekend of October Marie and I had to go to Montreal to replace one of our solar batteries, taking advantage of the nice weather the next day to spend some time with the grandkids. It was another warm, beautiful early fall day when we drove down to the small village of Saint-Chrysostome, to visit the gravesite of Marie's Mother and Father. On the way back we found a small playground for the kids in Saint-Rémi and picked up some pumpkins, before heading home again. They say just an hour with your grandkids can make you young. Truth be told after this day we both felt like teenagers again! gws
